We have now been active with radio yacht racing at Lakeside, for a few weeks now. Racing is restricted to Club members for reasons of insurance and Council approval, though potential new members are welcome to contact the Sail Commodore on firstname.lastname@example.org. Sadly, because of COVID19 measures we do not have the space to accept guests, though hopefully as time goes by, and as the rules change, we will be able to our old much more sociable selves!

We are affiliated to the Model Yachting Association (MYA), which is itself affiliated to the RYA and the International Radio Sailing Association, the IRSA. The Sail Division races International One Metre yachts and Radio Marbleheads both of which have international status. We also race the Dragon Force 65, an off the shelf, single design class, which is gaining widespread popularity. In March 2019, the Club will adopt the Dragon Flite 95 yacht, the slightly larger sister to the DF65. Check the menu if you want to know more details of the racing Programme.
